Developing your Business Vision can seem overwhelming for most Clinicians who are starting to develop a mental health private practice. This plan is critical to the development of a thriving mental health practice. Below you find key components that will need to incorporated in your vision.
1. What do you want for your practice? Solo practice? Group Practice? Specialization? Niche? Size?
2. Why develop a practice? What is your motivation? Service to clients? Financial freedom? Being your own boss?
3. Differentiate between your short term and long term goals. What can you achieve within the first 3 months of opening your practice? 6 months? 1 year? 5 years? 10 years?
You Business Vision can be a couple sentences or a 3 page paper. You vision should serve as a guide to helping you understand what you want in your practice.
